SCOTTISH ALE: “Off-Kilter Ale”  This beer of deep copper color is typical of the style: caramel and slight roast flavor, high alcohol content, and a smooth, full body. The use of flaked barley gives this beer its richness. On the traditional taxing/rating scale, this brew is a between an "80 Shilling" and a "90 Schilling" Scottish ale. The Scottish liquid yeast will add a subtle smoky accent and is highly recommended for a true Scottish style beer. 1.056-1.063 O.G.
