CALIFORNIA COMMON: “Shoreline Steamer”  A California Common or “Steam” beer refers to a beer brewed with lager yeast at ale temperatures, usually with an ample supply of hops. The warmer temperature lends more fruity overtones to the beer, while the lager yeast provides a crisper finish. This unique combination defines the California Common Style. Our recipe is a maltier variation on the theme, sure to please the Big Beer brewer. Shp.Wt.13 lb. 8 oz.
