Get your malt here! A generous sweetness dominates this German lager. This style was created primarily for its nutritional value, to sustain the monks that brewed it through times of fasting. A bock’s malt flavor is not disguised by hops or roasted grains as it is in most Stouts and other hefty brews. Some say it was brewed under Capricorn, the sign of the billy-goat (or “bock” in German). We say brew it anytime.
